CHIEF, TRANSPLANT SURGERY AND IMMUNOLOGY
The Department of Surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, in alliance with Fletcher All! en Health Care, is seeking a Chief of Transplant Surgery & Immunology . Transplant surgery is evolving at a tremendous rate and FAHC is at the cutting edge of clinical care. The Chief will be responsible for clinical program development, medical student teaching, residency training and development of research programs. The successful applicant will be appointed at the Associate Professor/Professor level in the Clinical Scholar Pathway, commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments.
The applicant must be board certified in General Surgery with additional training in a 2-year ASTS accredited Abdominal Organ Transplant Fellowship, eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont, eligible to work in the United States, and have experience in the administrative, teaching, clinical, and research activities of an academic division of transplantation. This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position with attending staff privileges at Fletcher Allen Health Care.
