The Opportunity
Lounsbury Furniture in Moncton has an opening for a Sales Consultant. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for sales, furniture & home décor and who strives to provide the best customer service.
Sales Consultants must be available to work days, evenings and weekends. The compensation is a combination of a base salary and commission (based on sales targets).
We do provided training and you are paid a salary during the training period.

Responsibilities
-
To provide prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to our customers and to assist them with their shopping needs
- Work the sales floor selling furniture, bedroom sets, mattresses and appliances
- Must meet targeted sales goals
- Work with the customer service team to place customer orders
Qualifications
-
Previous retail work experience is an asset
- Understanding of the sales cycle
- Self-motivated and driven with a fondness for excellent customer service
- Well-organized with a disciplined ability to follow through
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products & ability to learn in-house computer programs
- High school diploma or GED required
