Part-time Medical Assistant II-Cancer Center

Description: Fletcher Allen Health Care is currently seeking to employ Part-time Medical Assistant II-Cancer Center right now, this occupation will be placed in Vermont. Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing! clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required.
Experience:
One year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required.
This is a part time, 20 hours per week position, that will be shared between two departments in the Vermont Cancer Center: Surgery and Med Onc.
