As a Surgical Technologist, assists with providing surgical ! instruction to the surgeon during surgery, pre and post surgery under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Also the care/cleaning of equipment and room pre and post surgical.
Hiring Range Description:
Grade 25 or 27
Education:
LPN Graduate with interest in the operating room and/or graduate from a Surgical Technologist program. A non traditional route to establish qualifications may be accepted after review of education and experience.
Experience:
25: Prior experience as an LPN or healthcare professional (i.e. surgical assistant). 27: 1 year Surgical Technologist.
Special Skills / Other:
The Surgical Technologist must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to assists surgeons in the scrub role.
