Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens
Sta! rtDate: 06/11/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Certified - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed in a Central Vermont Facility for an opportunity starting in June. The assignment is for 1 full time evening shift with the option to extend Day shift. The provider must be comfortable working in an Occupational Medicine setting.
A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Occ Med) needed - June 11th (May Extend) - Schedule: 5:30p - 10:30p, no call. Certified! Midlevel, 100% Adult Med, 100% schedule, 10ppd. Typical Cases! : Pre-employment exams, Annual follow ups, Work-Comp injuries. Support Staff: 1 x LPN, Office Staff.
