Description: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is in need of Staff RN, ACU/PACU/Endoscopy right now, this occupation will be placed in Vermont. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing the health status of individuals and groups, establishing nursing diagnosis, establishing goals to meet identified health care ! needs, planning a strategy of medical or health care, prescribing nursing interventions to fulfill the strategy of care, implementing the strategy of care and evaluating documented responses to interventions. The Registered Nurse also delegates those interventions which may be performed by others, supervises others as appropriate, assists in maintaining a safe environment for the rendering of effective nursing care, provides education to patients, families and health professionals and collaborates with other health professionals in the planning and management of health care. Qualifications: 2 years recent Med/Surg experience and venipuncture proficiency required. Ambulatory, same day surgery, critical care experience and electronic charting experience preferred.
PACU/Endoscopy experience preferred; or will be required to become proficient in all three areas of service (ACU/PACU/ENDO) within six (6) months of hire. Licensure/certification: State of Vermont RN licens! e required. Current BLS and ACLS certification required. Moder! ate sedation/analgesia certification required.
CPAN / CAPA certification preferred.
