This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care ! support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities.
Medical Assistant I duties within Vascular Surgery: rooming patients, performing dressing changes, managing clinic flow, working closely with a group of nurses and providers.
The successful incumbent will be a strong team player, organized, flexible and have an eye for process improvement.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required within six months of hire.
Experience:
Initial entry level trainee period mandatory (3-6 months) for candidate with no experience.Experience providing or assisting in direct patient care preferred.
