The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and Fletcher Allen Health Care is seeking an orthopaedic spine surgeon for a full-time position as assistant or as! sociate professor on the clinical scholar pathway. The position will be involved in resident and medical student education. Responsibilities include patient care and resident and medical student teaching. An interest in participating in clinical or basic science research is valued.
Qualifications: Must be a board eligible or certified orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship trained in orthopaedic spine surgery, focusing on cervical spine and adult deformities. Candidates must demonstrate an interest in teaching.The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and/or service.
