OR Technician
Location: Burlington Vermont
Description: Fletcher Allen Health Care is looking of OR Technician right now, this vacancy will be placed in Vermont. More details about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. The Operating Room Technician is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the sterile field. The Technician accurately and efficiently anticipates surgeon's needs intraoperatively by applying comprehensive knowledg! e of operative procedures, equipment, anatomy and surgeons preferences. The O.R. Technician works closely with all perioperative team members during the preoperative, intraoperative, and post operative care of the surgical patient.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of an Accredited Civilian or Military Operating Room Technician Program.
Experience:
One year successful experience as an Operating Room Technician in a similar environment preferred. Must have at least one year as an OR Scrub Tech or LPN.
The successful applicant will also learn the roles of Unit Secretary and Labor & Delivery Assistant.
