A nursing leadership opportunity is currently available for an Intensive Care Unit RN Manager with an acute care hospital in Vermont. This Intensive Care Unit RN Manager will join a 150+ Bed hospital with generations of community service to its name. The facility features a 24-hour Emergency Room, highly regarded Birthing Center, Cancer Care, and Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery Centers. This prestigious hospital has obtained a number of distinctions including “A†ratings in key specialties and Joint Commission top performance recognition.
The Intensive Care Unit RN Manager will be responsible for direct assessment and treatment of patients within the Critical Care Unit. This Intensive Care Unit RN Manager will provide team lead oversight and maintain a strong working knowledge of the hospital’s performance standards and quality measures. The Intensive Care Unit RN Manager will assist in patient documentation, explanation of care delivery and provide clinical education and expertise to RN staff.
Additional responsibilities for this Intens ive Care Unit RN Manager will include leadership in the absence of the ICU Director, maintenance of departmental safety measures, and implementation of programs and procedures to increase department throughput and patient care delivery. The Intensive Care Unit RN Manager will report to the ICU Director.
